Thompson Land Engineering-about us Thompson Land Engineering About Us
Thompson Land Engineering (TLE) is a new choice for site civil engineering in the Austin, San Antonio, and Houston Texas areas.  We have almost 25 years of experience designing solutions that address customer’s development challenges.

We at TLE believe that we understand what it is like to be in the customer’s position.  We have developed small projects of our own.  We too have had to hire consultants to help us meet our development needs.  Therefore, we’ve been in the customer's position and understand how a consultant can make a project easy or harder than it needs to be.  We understand that an owner needs more than just a firm that is technically competent, an owner needs a firm that is also easy to contact, attentive, quick to respond, and communicative.  TLE strives to be just that.  We believe that just a quick look at our projects page will show that we are technically competent to design your site civil improvements.  And we believe that if you allow us to propose on your project, you will experience our responsiveness, attentiveness, and our efforts to communicate.

It should also be said that one of the greatest challenges in our business is giving realistic deadlines and meeting those deadlines on budget.  Seldom are conditions as initially thought and seldom does the permitting proceed in the same way as it did before.  But we understand that financing and market position can be dependent on price, timing, and the ability to come up with “out of the box” solutions to design problems.  We strive to respect the customer's needs in that regard and hope that you will have the opportunity to experience just that.

We at TLE always enjoy discussing a possible project with a customer.  We are happy to discuss any project with a customer and even perform preliminary research and offer preliminary thoughts at no charge.  We hope that you will call us at 512-328-0002 and discuss your project needs with our office.
